About Hope Research Group

Hope Research Group (HRG) is a Caribbean and Latin American market research firm. We have been doing fieldwork in the region continuously since 1985.

We have been running Caribbean fieldwork in six working languages since 1985: English, Spanish, Dutch, Papiamento, Haitian Creole and Jamaican Patois. Our local field teams handle recruitment, interviewing and translation in each market, with regional offices backing the work.

Where we work

HRG serves 20 Caribbean markets directly, with Cuba covered through a long-standing local partner (21 Caribbean markets in total). We also serve 10 strategic-partner markets in Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala) and provide direct fieldwork in South Florida for US and Caribbean diaspora studies. We support UK clients through our regional offices.

Clarifying who we are

Prospects searching for HRG sometimes land on the wrong organization. For the record:

  • Hope Research Group is a Caribbean market research firm. We are not affiliated with Harmon Research Group (a US polling and market research company) or the Hope Research Institute. These are unrelated entities that share only part of our name.
  • HOPE Caribbean Company Ltd at hopecaribbean.com is our sister company under common ownership. It is a separate operating entity, run day-to-day by Deborah Wedderburn (Bourne) as its Managing Director. HRG and HOPE Caribbean Company share owners, methodology, and client history, but operate in different geographic areas.
